Hi Aaron,

I'd love to see and maybe even ride that Susie! That seems like a really
cool bike.

I'm a relatively new Riv rider, having just bought a 61.5 blue Homer back
in November, but I love it and have ridden it quite a bit. I usually get in
a 30-50 mile ride on the weekend and some shorter stuff during the week.
Prior to buying the Homer, I was riding an ~2008 Lemond Versailles, a
carbon frame (mostly) bike with super skinny tires. I liked that well
enough (I still have it and ride it), but could feel that it was going to
become more and more problematic as I get older (I'm 63 now). BTW, I have
albatross bars on my Homer, and love them.
Because I liked the Homer so much, I got my wife a 60.5 sergio green
Platypus earlier this year. That's a great bike, too, and it's a big enough
frame that I can ride it, so that's 2 Riv models I have tried. But I sure
would like to try others.

I do have one other bike. My 1987 yellow Cannondale MTB that I bought new.
It's pretty scraped up now and so has become my cruiser bike for short
errands. And that's the bike that I commuted to work at Sandia Labs for 30
years on! Earlier this year I added a Nitto Dirtdrop stem to that and some
bosco bars to make the riding position more upright and relaxed, and I'm
happy with the result, though it does look like a franken-bike now.
