That looks like a memorable ride! it seems like the rides where it's a bit
of a struggle (or maybe a lot of a struggle) are the ones that stay with
you.
I'm thinking of how to be inclusive of people that are up for riding
something like 30 miles and some that might not be able to do that. My
current idea is that we'd meet somewhere (maybe Bike in Coffee, if you like
the setup there), do some introductions and bike ogling, and then maybe
divide into a shorter ride group and a longer ride group. But I'd float
that idea past everyone first to get their reactions. If everyone wants to
ride 30, we'd only need one group. But if someone wants to come meet with
us and ride 10-15 miles, that's totally fine with me. And if someone just
wants to come and see the bikes and not ride in a group, that's also OK.
What do you think? We can talk about this on Wednesday.

Chris
P.S. My friend Ann and I did a meandering, not very fast ride around the
South Valley yesterday and I ended up doing 51 miles by the time I got
home. We are both excited about trying that 50 mile ABQ activity loop
sometime after I get back from Costa Rica. She rarely drives and rides all
over the city, so she is a great person to talk to about routes. She's also
ridden outside the city a fair amount too, including many times up to
Santa Fe, taking the Railrunner back.
