there's an excellent idea! I have toured both Portugal & Spain, and can 
report both to be excellent cycling countries, with the usual caveat about 
big cities. This reminds me of the old days when people purchase cars in 
Europe, drove them around on vacation, then shipped them home as personal 
property, thus avoiding costs to import to the States. Purchase in Europe & 
avoid the cost & hassle of shipping your own bike.
