I have a 2024 57cm Appaloosa. With 48mm tires, fenders, and size 10.5
shoes, when the crank is in the forward-most position, there is at least 4"
of clearance between my toe and the fender. No toe overlap whatsoever.
Now, I can say there is "knee overlap". I have Chocomoose bars with bar end
shifters and if I wanted to hit the shifters with my knee on a tight turn,
I could. But I've just learned to keep the knees in, or out, of the way
when turning. It's completely intuitive by now.
