Nothing admirable; I'd choose 26s to 32s if I could find light, supple
ones in the 559 size, but alas ....

I run 60 mm Big Apple Liteskins (that are stretching toward 65 mm on
45 mm rims) at 15/18 or so on the Fargo, on pavement and off, and they
seem to roll as well as the 40 mm (actual, marked 38) Spec Hemispheres
on the alternate wheelset at 40-50 or so.

I just road 18 miles out 'n' back to PO, Vespers and return on the Riv
cum 22s, and, while the little, skinny wheels jar on our inevitable 3"
to 5" expansion cracks, they really are quite smooth on low amplitude,
high frequency vibrations; eroded tarmac, say. My brother Peter and I
noticed this back 20 years ago when we both road mtbs with the Turbos
and Fatboys. And part of the jarring on big cracks is due to the small
diameter of the wheel.

Aside: first use tonight of the Edeluxe, powered by SON 20R, this
season; wonderful light.
