Yeah, the 56 Sam's are kind of a mixed lot at the moment. Of the 56cm Sams they have in stock now, they apparently have some that are Taiwan- made, still are $1000, take caliper brakes, and have a single top tube. They also have some that are Waterford made, that run Cantilever brakes, and have the 'undertube' and cost more.
