I'd been reading about Riv's for some time before I bought my 66cm Quickbeam. I did have the luxury of being able to test a Bombadil while I was on trip in the Bay Area but I hadn't ridden a QB. As I live in Hawaii getting the size right was important as shipping is on the high side. :-)
In any case I discussed the matter and ended up getting the 66cm QB. When I took the bike out the box and got it ready to ride I was sure I'd made a mistake and that it was too big for me (and I'm a big guy). One ride cured me of that. The bike is the best fitting bike I've ever owned and while I can imagine another fitting as well I can't imagine one fitting better. I'd trust with another purchase without a test ride in a heartbeat if I had the money (and hopefully that'll be later this year). Aloha!
