Fun write-up! Nothing like experiencing motorist hostility only to breeze up beside the car at the next light. Most of the time they are too embarrassed or scared to look in my direction. Several times I've witnessed them drive dangerously through the red light rather than face the discomfort of being adjacent to the cyclist they just abused (me). The protective cage of the automobile gives some people the illusion of anonymity and invincibility - when that illusion is suddenly shattered, hilarity ensues.
