Did you find out if your moving to Dubai. I lived there for 2.5 years. It get's pretty hot in the summer. An old-style glass bottle of coke behind our villa turned soft in the sun and the glass neck started drooping. There is a group of expat road riders but I personally would not ride on the streets. Most drivers are from third world countries and they are driving their very first car. Driving the wrong way on a one-way road, bored Arab teens cruising/speeding in their BMS X5's, and crazy driving to rush back home from work just before sundown during Ramadan. On the other hand, with all the sand, a super fat tire bike / motorcycle / SUV would be fun.
