I can't speak to the Mini Motos' width, but the arms measure 83mm (center of mounting bolts to brake cable).

V-brakes always make me think of my mother in law's beach cruiser, which mind you does stop on a dime with her ahem "generous" body on it but they just have such an xmart quality to them.
