The TRP Tektro levers on Riv's website are the nicest-feeling levers I've ever ridden -- just fantastic. They look a little funny in the pics (some of them, anyway), but the gum hood version looks really nice in the flesh. Despite the price, purchasing the bike was a tough desicion for me when I, A) already had a wonderfuly fitting and riding Surly LHT; B) Wasn't sure that a 58cm atlantis would provide an adequate fit; and C) have a new 4 month old at home ( I may have left that part our originally!!) I was able to pass on the LHT to a good friend and now new riding partner. The bike rides, fits, and looks like a dream. And being that I was able to sell the LHT and some other parts to fund the purchase, the wife is happy as well. I added some brown Big Apples and Paul mini-motos on the front, and swapped out a shorter stem, aside from that the bike is as it came. I still haven't decided what I am going to do in regards to the brake levers (as you can tell by my wacked out cabling and lack of handlebar tape). I had STI's on LHT, and while I don't miss the intergated shifting, I do miss the nice hand position on top of the lever. I also think I may like the clean look of aero brakes better.
