I think there was some variation that occurred in the manufacture of each bike. My green 58cm frame would fit a Jack Brown in the front but with only 3-4mm of clearance to the Tektro brakes. The back would easily fit a 38mm tire. I sold it because I wanted to fit bigger tires.
