I'm thinking of a bike tour from Boston to Montreal this summer, possibly with a return trip or a loop down to the Adirondacks depending on my schedule. In my dream world, I'd find a route through Vermont using the numerous maps of dirt and gravel roads found here<http://www.aot.state.vt.us/Planning/mapgis/town_maps1.htm>. Any one done something similar, or familiar enough with Vermont to suggest a route that avoids, where possible, main thoroughfares?
