Here's a pic of my 68 Atlantis on the GAP last spring on the Riv Rally. The tires are 40 mm Dureme The fenders are 60mm Berthoud fitted for 50mm tires. I chose the 40mm tire for this trip because... I just had a feeling:) I was glad for the extra clearance. I had to stop on the C&O on the other trip I mentioned more than once to clear mud from between the fender and tire while running 50s and 60mm PB Cascadia fenders.
