Since my brain prevents me from attending Mass, I headed to the Highland Cathedral on my Hunqapillar. I left in the early pre dawn, getting amazing views of Ute Pass under iridescent purple sky with the near full moon over Pikes Peak. Then came the alpine glow on the peak, which I caught the end of in a photo. Hoarfrost was forming out of thin air under the windless clear skies. What a grand way to spend four hours while my family was at Mass!
