Your experience mimics mine, as I posted on the older thread. Until I
started riding upright, I seriously thought I'd have to give up road
cycling.

Not sure what you mean by brake-cable-mitten space, but just in case, I
found the Bosco riding experience to be even better with reverse brake
levers. You might want to give those a try. I'm selling the Tektro's I have
since I prefer the firmer feel of the Paul's. The Tektro's I have are
silver, which is really hard to find now.
