One guy said "Isn't that a Rivendell bike?" They were nice after my accident and went over it 3 times to make sure everything was ok - and it was. They rebuilt my rear wheel when I got in an accident. They actually have a Velocity distributor. Though they were surprised when I told them it was a 650b wheel. Some funny comments when at my LBS with my Bleriot I have heard: "Oldie but a goodie", or something like that from a customer, and, "Those are some FAT tires!" when an ultracyclist customer sat on the Bleriot and looked down at the Nifty Swiftys I had on there. "Obsolete technology", about my Paul centerpulls.
