The Pauls while stiffer, were more of a pain to get set up correctly. I 
seemed to be forever between spongy feel and squealing like mad. I did have 
them working well and then I swapped the wheelset to the current one w/ 
different rim widths and profiles and had to re-adjust again. Frankly, I am 
lazy when it comes to this kind of thing. Also, the Pauls required more 
"complicated" cable routing and it got in the way of the handlebar bag. I 
toyed with the idea of getting them brazed on but just figuerd it would be 
better to go ride the bike rather than turn it into a shrine.
