Here are a couple of bad photos of how I did it.

It was a pretty simple job and I did not get worked up about it being "pro" 
level work. I removed the existing light's internals, sawed the Supernova 
tail light mounting tabs off so it would fit inside the housing, ran the 
wire out the back and used a heavy duty 2 part epoxy to attach the light 
the the back plate of the housing. after the epoxy cured. I surrounded the 
light w/ silicone to take up some dead space and to help adhere the light 
as well.

Since I run my wire's externally, I ran the wire over the fender and down 
the fender stay.
