I'm using the Conti Speed tires that Rivendell sells. Its hard to beat the Grande Bois tires that Compass sells, but I was pleasantly surprised by the Conti Speed tires. I think they measure out to be around 38mm, and fit my Homer nicely. I'm riding them on dirt roads and am happy with them. Wider is better, at least for me. Richard
