I live in Northern Ca. and get to visit Riv Headquarters once in awhile. Last time I was able to ride an Appaloosa and I was amazed with the handling of this bike. Its very eye-opening how much we give up thinking that a racer-influenced design is so good. That influence really distorts reality regarding bicycle ride and handling. That Appaloosa felt like I could bomb down any hill with total confidence.
