That is really why we started doing a "bike specific" powder coat business. We saw what most of the commercial coaters did and we were not impressed. 90% of the time they would apply the powder too heavy and fill in the beautiful lug work and details of the frame. Most will not mess around with masking lugs or pinstripe or graphics or save the head badge or properly protect the threaded openings. The beauty of a bike is in the details.
