Hi, My Makevars contains the following line,
## Use the R_HOME indirection to support installations of multiple R version PKG_LIBS = $(shell $(R_HOME)/bin/Rscript -e "Rcpp:::LdFlags()" ) $(LAPACK_LIBS) $(BLAS_LIBS) $(FLIBS) which I obviously took from somewhere, perhaps automatically generated from package.skeleton, I don't remember. It's worked for me on two different machines (both Macs, though).
