TIG welding is the only way to go

They've already got most of it covered, but one important thing is no matter what kind of welding you do, make sure you have plenty of ventilation. Open the garage door a foot or so should be plenty, but welding gasses of any sort are not something you want to breathe much of. With stick you'll also need a few more tools--the flux makes a thick layer of slag on the weld, which you'll need to break off before painting or anything. They make slag hammers for this, and I'm sure the people with more experience at this than me will tell you half a dozen other things that would be useful for you to have. -- You are currently subscribed to the "R/C Tank Combat" group.
