Providing BOTH the textual and non-textual identifier links is a way to
help in providing access both NOW and in the FUTURE.  And, interestingly,
that's what serialists have been doing for decades.  (Not that library
systems vendors have been rushing out to provide any kind of functionality
for the non-textual identifiers...)
