Forum at the ALA Midwinter
Dear Colleagues,
You are cordially invited to attend the Resource Description and
Access (RDA) Update Forum at the ALA Midwinter Meeting in Philadelphia, PA.
This question and answer session about RDA will be held in the
Philadelphia Convention Center Lecture Hall on Sunday, January 13,
2008, from 10:30am to 12:30pm. It is sponsored by the ALCTS
Cataloging and Classification Section.
John Attig, ALA's representative to the Joint Steering Committee
(JSC), will provide an update on the work being done on
RDA. Marjorie Bloss, RDA Project Manager, and Beacher Wiggins,
Director for Acquisitions & Bibliographic Access at the Library of
Congress, will also give presentations and be available to answer
questions from the audience.
