"Digital resource" would be more accurate for resources on a physical
carrier than online resource.

Our answer in AACR2 (as opposed to the PN "online resource") is to use
a *specific* *S*MD (how radical!), e.g., electronic text, website,
streaming video, video game, etc.

The only place we see to be exact in RDA is the unit name. At the
moment we are considering adding "PDF" to the already accepted DVD,
CD, CD-ROM, etc. We did consider "digital file" as an RDA unit name
(it is mentioned in the RDA text, but not in a list); that term too
seems too broad. Aren't all electronic resources digital files?
