The ALCTS Program Committee invites proposals for ALCTS programs and
preconferences for ALA Annual 2013 in Chicago, Illinois. The dates of the 2013
Annual Conference are June 27-July 2.
If you're interested in planning a preconference or program, please complete
the appropriate web form (see below) and plan to visit with the Program
Committee during ALA Annual 2012 in Anaheim. Appointments with the committee
usually take about 15 minutes. The committee and ALCTS staff will help refine
your ideas and coordinate logistics. You don't need to have all the details
when you initially fill out the proposal form or visit the committee to pitch
your idea. And although programs or preconferences often originate with ALCTS
sections, committees, or interest groups, they can also come from individuals
or other groups.
Beginning with Annual 2013, all program time slots are either 60 or 90 minutes.
All ALCTS programs take place during Annual Conference in Chicago on Saturday,
Sunday, or Monday.
In-person preconferences (may be 1 day or 2 days) take place in Chicago on the
Thursday and/or Friday immediately prior to Annual Conference.
