AACR2 was departed from by LCRIs, rule interpretations of other cataloguing agencies, and what I call cataloguer nullifiction. I hope cataloguer nullification will hold to a minimum those long phrases replacing ISBD inclusions. Those phrases do do work internationally; we can not send a record for a French resource to a Quebec library with English phrases, even if they would accept them for English resources. __ __ J.
