I hope someone can help clarify my little question about recording
unnumbered pages/leaves of plates in MARC 300 subfield a.
Per RDA 3.4.5.9, let's say that we decided to record unnumbered
sequences of plates because they constitutes a substantial part of
the resource. RDA has the following example:
xii, 24 pages, 212 leaves of plates, 43 unnumbered leaves of plates
But let's assume that we do not want to count or estimate their number.
Then, what would be the correct way to record unnumbered pages of
plates. Can we refer back to RDA 3.4.5.3.1 "Numbered and unnumbered
sequences" and follow method c)?:
xii, 24 pages, 212 leaves of plates, unnumbered sequence of leaves of plates
