We did not with AACR2, because of differing fixed fields and GMD. We
will not with RDA because of differing fixed fields and 33X.

There is also the matter of ease of plating holds and circulating.

The change from AACR2 to RDA would seem an appropriate time to cease
the nonstandard practice of combining the two physical forms of the
same resource.. There is nothing to prevent a 530 in each referencing
the other. (The Provider Neural standard would have 776 as opposed to
530. We do both.)

If you have a single resource with both print and electronic
components (e.g., a book with a CD-ROM), your 33X's should have $3
fields identifying to what the media term

337 $3book$aunmediated$2rdamedia
337 $aCD-ROM$aelectronic$2isbdmedia
