It would provide a simple graphical frontend to the versioned backup files suitable and even simple to use for my mom (or whoever)
Of course it should support different versions (not yet integrated into cvs: or svn:) but already in TODO http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/KDE/kdesdk/kioslave/svn/TODO?rev=409872&view=auto This vision may be quite apart from ordinary rdiff-backup development, but it would integrate it smoothly into KDE. (Though for the touth parts as backup or full restore I prefer the cmd line) But it would make browsing for a lost document just as easy as a picknick.
