Jason,
There is a small ex-Satcon employee group supporting their inverters for a fee. If you're interested contact me off list and I'll get you a contact or two. I wasn't able to stay long enough to observe the main fan running, but the owner believes it does. The filters and cabinet are clean. Supposedly the fault appears about an hour after startup. I'm wondering if this is just a temperature sensor issue, but I wasn't able to quickly identify any sensors. I suspect there are two (because there is also a inv overtemp 2 fault code in the manual). There is another PVS-100 right beside it, and it's located on the outside of a building on the north side. That one works fine. I observed the fault in the morning during 80 degree ambient temps. And pointers would be appreciated. All the manual says is "Contact Satcon Service." Were you able to obtain any of the Satcon manuals you were after? Contact me off-list, as I may have a few electronic copies in my archives. I'm set to look at one "installed by others" that is reporting an overheating problem. The customer also wants a maintenance contract bid on it. I do not yet have the model number or rating. I'm guessing it's just a lack of filter maintenance causing the issue, but I would like to look at the full maintenance requirements before I bid a maintenance contract. The customer has no manuals or logs, which were kept by the now-estranged and/or defunct seller.
