HI Michael, It was for 2 reasons. If both relays are bad then yes the board needs replacing.
But also its easy to work in the radian to add a 12v relay cube to give you the dry contact you need. Vs going into the back of the FNDC. And I don’t know what anyone else has heard but OB tech support told me years ago not to use the FNDC relay for AGS. I had been using it for AGS and was having some intermittent issues. Changed it to the inverter and didn’t have any more issues.
