With all due respect, the Flexmax 100 GFDI fuse is not that same as either of the Fluke 87 fuses. · Per the Flemax 100 AFCI manual <https://old.outbackpower.com/downloads/documents/charge_controllers/flexmax_100_afci/fm100_afci_manual.pdf> June 2022, Revision C, page 20, the fuse is “600 Vdc, 0.75 Adc, OutBack Power P/N SPARE-045”. If you look closely at the photograph the fuse shown is 1 amp. My recollection is the fuse is 1 amp. · Per Fluke <https://www.fluke.com/en-us/products/accessories/fuses> the fuses are 11A @ 1000V and 440 mA @ 1000V. The photo of the 11 amp fuse shows a Bussman DMM-11AR. The photo of the 440 mA shows a Little Fuse Fast-acting 44/100A Unfortunately neither manufacturer gives the full specs for the fuses, at least not that I can readily find. The fuse activation timing (fast or delay) is an important factor. I am sure somewhere on the web are cross-reference numbers to major fuse manufacturers. Above I cite what is seen in photographs but not specifically named in any specification table. All of these fuses are expensive. This is why if someone uses my 87 and leaves the red lead plugged into either amp port they owe me a beer, and if a fuse is blown, a replacement. Turns out the ground fault fuse was blown in a brand new controller. I did't have my meter with me to test the fuse and had to go back the next day. I had a good fuse in the 2nd controller not yet hooked up so I could have borrowed that one and had the system up and running. Only cost me 4 hours of drive time by not having my meter. Double check all terminal connections in the Power center related to the FM100. Do the pull test carefully, I once missed tightening a neutral that was passing current & then not. I finally heard a slight crackle sound as I turned the array input & battery breaker at the same time to on, did the pull test [moved wires & the Fm100 lite up], then Felt like an idiot! Tightened the neutral & all good. _________________________________________________________ Dana Orzel GREAT SOLAR WORKS!
