Hi, Mechanix~ Can someone suggest a shop to provide a "solar" ethernet cable? I'd like to get this with the RJ45 plugs professionally installed so I don't have to learn new tricks. I need quantity one for an SMA Sunny Tripower 50kW PV inverter.
* Length is TBD but prolly ~ 30 feet * Sunlight resistant * Cat 5e or higher * Cable bandwidth: 100 Mbps (100Base Tx copper wire, 24AWG same as 0.22 mm²) * Shielding: SF/UTP, S/UTP, SF/FTP or S/FTP * Voltage rating 250-ish or higher: I plan to put the power wires in an EMT conduit and to keep the data wire outside the conduit. * If I've understood the SMA instructions correctly, I only need two wire pairs but more would of course be OK. * Standard patch cable wiring (not crossover) Shipment would be to a biz address in 81147 CO.
