My understanding of UL3741 is that you need to have the racking system, the shutoff units (often string level shutdown units), and the inverter all listed to work with each other. So far, I have been unable to find any combination that does what I need (specifically, any battery based inverters other than Tesla that are listed with shutdown units and racking), so I've still been using module level shutdown. ul3741.com has lists of what is cross listed with what else.
