I can confirm it doesn't work from Eudora, but when I drag from
TextEdit I get following behavior:
TextEdit opens a new document with the text.
Safari does a Google search on the text.
This works by dragging to the dock whether Safari is already running
or not (obviously TextEdit is already running).
