iXiu is coded with 2006r3fc and also the upcoming iSticky3.
RB2006 is a little bit slow at startup and durinig the first compile
(if you are using plugins).
At Vergeer we are also using 2006r2 and made some mission-critical
apps all running on OSX and the never crash, even after millions of
used sockets.
If you own the same Mac as you did a year ago, I know you will take a
deep breath the first week of coding in this new IDE, but believe me,
after some time you get used to it and every release RB is better
then ever.
