Actually is not the controls, I think it is the canvas related controls.
In the case of Stimulus, I am almost sure it is the canvas.
Anyone else see this as an issue?

Use OS X where everything is double buffered by default :)
Otherwise you get this behavior on Windows with a lot of the standard
controls
This is not unique to RB
You will see it in other applications perhaps not as noticeable but
it's there
