Why not ask this, if this tool is so great, then it will justify it self.
What do you mean your not competing against Adobe and Microsoft? Yes you
are, their apps set a high standard. If you create a text editor, it
will follow design guidelines of MS Word, if you do an image editor,
then it is expected to behave like photoshop. If it doesn't people will
just look for something familiar and as user friendly.
You and most of us here are writing applications to try to cash in, why
not ask the Tool gods to provide us with the power we need to compete
not just in database apps but in all types of apps.
Quality apps require quality development tool.
Honest criticism can help to make the best of tools.
