They are still the software portion of FreeScale
They just don't sell Mac version of CodeWarrior any more since Macs are not based on FreeScale (powerPC) silicon

Which means they never had to finish the PPx framework they were developing for OS/X as the PowerPlant fit with HIView etc. was very poor.

Do NOT underestimate the cost of framework support :-)
