That could probably be, yes. However, what remains is the fact that
Firefox and Safari also don't render the page identically.
There is nothing that says Safari and FireFox should display it in
the same way, my experience is that they do not render in the same
way to 100%.
BUT WebKit and WebKit should display in the same way, if not there is
two WebKit (Carbon and Cocoa)?
I found that iCab shows it like the RB HTML Viewer.. (using Carbon
WebKit?)
The Apple Example "SimpleCarbonWeb" also render it like RB HTML
Viewer but not like Safari.
