I completely agree - I'm constantly surprised at the tidbits I pick up from email postings that I wouldn't go digging for in a forum. My time is limited, and quickly scanning incoming email is easy, as is searching the archived email list. I visit the forums occasionally, but I find the lists have been far more educational, and I get a *lot* more helpful responses to list postings than I ever have on the forums. If RS sees the problem as one of confusion, why not simply make both the email lists and the forum entry archives searchable from one central web page? It's obvious that *marketing* has little notion of how programmers tick...:( Let's hope that whoever is making all the other decisions at RS does! My sincere thanks to everyone here, and good luck in whatever programming conundrums come your way - - John _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> REAL Software has decided to consolidate this mailing list with the online Forums.
