Is the comp.lang.basic.realbasic group quite active ?
Not really. Not many people use NNTP anymore. (I'm not sure why -- I
find them even easier to browse than mailing lists, which of course
are
way easier than forums. But young'uns these days mostly don't even
know what NNTP is!)
It's cos of the spammers and trolls. Usenet has become a gutter for
the internet. With no way to to filter out the bad guys, many groups
to go the poop. The comp groups aren't so bad thankfully, but most of
it is.
Not sure if I'll be on the RB forums...
end of an era I believe. Reminds me of the phrase: "This too shall
pass."
OK I'll turn up from time to time to announce new versions of my
plugin. Maybe it won't pass that much then.
