Modes 1 and 2 don't do anything for me. Interestingly the interactive shell example in the Shell class documentation uses a timer that repeatedly calls ReadAll instead of using DataAvailable... This is mysterious. Why does it work for some people and not others? I thought the difference might be that the shell was created by dropping it into the window from the IDE or created in code at runtime, but no both scenarios don't work for me.
