I also agree with Lars as quoted below! After pondering this for a while, I think that the community could benefit from a public display of its opinion regarding this incredibly stupid decision by RS. I would like suggest that someone with the web/bandwidth resources create a web page where the community can register and vote whether they want the mailing lists to be replaced by the forums alone. Simple for or against button tied to a database registration users name, optional address, country, registered RB versions etc. would suffice. The main page could display the total votes for each and link to the names of the voters. Think of it as a virtual petition.
