I don't remember any radical question about shutting down the lists appearing in the recent RS survey that I filled in. Shutting it down with 6/7 days notice is one way to really annoy your customers. The forums are slow to access and their search features have nothing over gmail. At least I have a few years of RB list emails that I can still search.
