In one of my apps, I had a read-only EditField.  This grabbed the
focus, even though it's read-only, and started beeping at me on every
keypress.  I tried to solve this by calling ClearFocus, but that didn't
work for reasons we now understand.

No, you certainly don't have to, but others may appreciate it if it may
be of interest to them, especially if it's the result of a discussion
thread.  This is especially true when people searching the archives
stumble across the thread months or years later, and wonder what ever
came of it.
