Same story over here, although I'm using a different platform (Ruby (+ Rails)) because cross-platform compatibility is a must for us. I used to be one of the people that complained when new versions of REALbasic were released, now I just feel sorry for all the people having to find new workarounds for things that used to work. It's only when you switch platforms (and find the right one for your kind of work) you start to realize what you've been enduring all those years. REALbasic still has its place in my company, but only to support our web applications in some areas (notifications, …), not for the scope of what our web apps do.
